Our notes are as follows:
-We noticed this McDonalds appeals to the local setting that it is in
-There are pictures of university athletes all over the walls.
-The usual yellow and red that covers the walls in normal McDonalds has been replaced with the Universities colors of maroon and gold.
-The "M" in McDonalds has been changed from the golden arches "M" to the University of Minnesota "M."
-This establishment is also very large and clean, it seems to appeal to students who are used to the comforts usually seen in middle to upper class locations.

McDonalds all over the world blend in with the local culture--by serving food specific to that culture. Nice focus on how this one appeals to U students. At the same time, there's also a homogenization of fast food and service that removes these restaurants from the local.
