What we can locate online about the historic Dinkytown neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, likely begins with Google Maps and Google Earth. I suggest this because not being from Minnesota, or Minneapolis, I didn't know what "Dinkytown" was until I had lived in Bloomington, MN, for nearly a year. According to a Google Maps search, the following image shows Dinkytown. Unfortunately, you'll notice that Google Maps does not label the neighborhood.

Deciding that this map was insufficient, I migrated my search to Google's primary Web search tool. I was certain a map of "Dinkytown" existed, with clear boundaries. My search led to the official Minneapolis Web site and a land use map: Dinkytown Special Service District (Historic Neighborhoods)
